CONCRETE MIXING MATERIAL AND CONCRETE COMPOSITION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a concrete composition by blending cement with a large amount of mixing materials such as latent hydraulic compounds, limestone fine powder, or the like, while minimizing the lowering of strength at initial to middle ages and achieving the same or higher strength at initial to middle ages as the case using cement without blending such mixing materials. SOLUTION: The mixing material for concrete comprises a latent hydraulic compound and/or limestone fine powder added with a trialkanolamine and a polycarboxylic acid and/or salt thereof. The concrete composition comprises cement and the mixing material and, as necessary, added water. The latent hydraulic material is preferably fly-ash, and the trialkanolamine is preferably triisopropanolamine.
