<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition by a coating type metal plate reinforcing material which can be applied by heating/coating for improving the tensile rigidity and dent resistance of a thin metal plate for the lightening of an automobile body, or for safety in collision, enhance the bending strength and rigidity of the metal plate, and prevents the generation of strains in the metal plate as well. SOLUTION: The composition for a coating type metal plate reinforcing material is a highly viscous material containing a liquid epoxy resin, a latent hardening agent and an inorganic filler having an aspect ratio (L/D) of >=5.
