PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance workability of taking out and housing an article by forming a spring-up side wall as a long side wall, forming a separate side wall as a short side wall and making up one of the spring-up side walls of a base portion, a middle slide portion and an upper slide portion and thereby enlarging an opening. SOLUTION: A foldable container comprises an upper frame 1, a bottom portion 2, spring-up side walls 3 facing to each other and separate side walls 4 facing to each other wherein spring up-side walls are formed as long side walls, separate side walls are formed as short side walls and one of the spring-up side walls is made up of a base portion 5, a middle slide portion 6 and an upper slide portion 7.
