PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnet device, a magnetic resonance imaging apparatus, an adjuster of the magnetic field uniformity coefficient, and a method of adjusting the uniformity coefficient for optimizing the adjusting sensitivity in adjusting the magnetic field uniformity coefficient, adjusting irregular magnetic components in lower orders without detaching/attaching a gradient magnetic coil, improving the work efficiency, and easily performing the work in the fine adjustment of the magnetic field uniformity coefficient in the space for measurement. SOLUTION: The magnet device comprises a pair of magnetic poles facing each other with the space for measurement in-between, superconducting coils disposed around the outer periphery of each magnetic pole, and containers for storing each superconducting coil. In the magnet device, the adjuster of the magnetic field uniformity coefficient including a plurality of magnetic pieces is disposed adjacent to the containers. The adjuster of the magnetic field uniformity coefficient is shaped in a ring consisting of the plurality of magnetic pieces disposed on the same circle or concentric circles relative to the center axis of the magnetic field. The magnetic resonance imaging apparatus has the adjuster of the magnetic field uniformity coefficient, and the magnetic field uniformity coefficient in the space for measurement is adjusted by adjusting the magnetic pieces as the adjuster of the magnetic field uniformity coefficient. |
