PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bench for use in the park, public facilities, etc., which can be used for containers of emergency supplies required at the time of a disaster, an accident, etc., and can also be used as stretchers. SOLUTION: The bench comprises a box 10 capable of storing articles such as the emergency supplies or the like therein, and a top plate 20 for closing an upper opening thereof and capable of completely separating from the box 10. Recessed/projected shapes 22 are formed on the outside face of the top plate 20 so as to partition a seating space 21 for using as a bed face at the time of using inside face of the top plate 20 as the stretcher.
