PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slot machine capable of reducing the processing burden of a play control board. SOLUTION: In the slot machine, with which a play state is controlled by a play control board 100, the dispensation control of medals is performed by a dispensation control board 105. The detecting signal of a dispensation sensor 601 for detecting dispensed medals is inputted to both the play control board 100 and the dispensation control board 105. On the basis of the input condition of the detecting signal from the dispensation sensor 601, the presence/absence of abnormality concerning the dispensation of medals is discriminated by the play control board 100 and the dispensation control board 105. When the presence of abnormality is discriminated, both the control boards are turned into inactive state. Afterwards, when reset operation is detected on the side of the play control board 100, the play control board 100 is recovered from the inactive state, transmits a recovery command to the dispensation control board 105 and makes the dispensation control board 105 recover from the inactive state.
