PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical X-ray apparatus capable of specifying an operating or interlocking component and capable of specifying a component to be retracted from a contact region or the retracting direction when the component enters the contact region. SOLUTION: The apparatus comprises an X-ray generating part 5, and X-ray image receiving part 6, and other components including a C-arm 3 and a top board 4 for mounting a subject. The apparatus also has indicators 21-30 mounted on the components themselves or near them for indicating the direction of their motion. The position of each component can be changed by a plurality of moving mechanisms, and the position data are detected by a detecting means. The detecting means judges that the components have entered their contact region based on the position data, and the retracting direction is indicated on the indicators 21-30 of the component to be retracted from the contact region.
