摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly precise and high speed rotating arm support mechanism capable of cone-beam radiography for producing a three-dimensional image by applying a cone-shaped X-ray beam (cone beam) to a subject for the rotating radiography and using a calculator. SOLUTION: Two superposed spur gears 31 and 32 are engaged with a spur gear 33 fixed to a first shaft supporting a C-shaped arm. The spur gears 31 and 32 are deviated in the radial direction from each other. The deviation is set so as the backlash with the spur gear 33 is eliminated. A second shaft 30 is mounted between a motor 25 with a brake and a first shaft 21 and an off-brake 61 is added so that the effect of the backlash of a worm reduction gear 26 is avoided. Therefore, the highly precise and high speed rotating arm support mechanism can be obtained with the motor of the same output as of an existing device.
