SOLUTION: After the gas containing NO and NO2 is made to pass through a packed layer packed with a material showing reduction action to NO2 to reduce NO2 into NO, the NO increased by the reduction action is adsorbed and removed by making the NO-increased gas pass through a material showing adsorption action to NO.
