PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a culture vessel in which aeration and agitation are conducted, capable of well mixing liquid with bubbles so that an amount of oxygen transferred from the bubbles to the liquid is increased and consequently a concentration of the dissolved oxygen is increased, by increasing the suction and delivery amounts of the liquid containing the bubbles, and therefore suitable for smoothly conducting the culture. SOLUTION: This culture vessel (10) is equipped with a disk turbine-type agitating element (1), wherein the agitating element (1) is composed of plural blades, a circular center ring (2) which divides a fluid flow sucked from its upper and lower spaces into two portions and is positioned in the central area of the element, and a pair of rings (4) of which the each forms openings in the upper and lower spaces of the disk turbine-type agitating element, respectively.
