APPARATUS FOR TRANSMITTING PACKET DATA CONTROL CHANNEL INFORMATION IN MOBILE COMMUNICATION SYSTEM

PURPOSE: An apparatus for transmitting packet data control channel information in a mobile communication system is provided to efficiently transmit control information of packet data in the mobile communication system capable of retransmission of the packet data. CONSTITUTION: A controller(301) outputs packet data control channel information for indicating size information of a sub-packet using the second and third bits in initial transmission and indicating the number of retransmission using the second and third bits in retransmission. A transmission converting unit converts output information of the controller(301) according to a promised channel structure of a mobile communication system. A wireless processor transmits the output of the transmission converting unit to wireless environment. The transmission converting unit has a block encoder(303) encodes inputted packet data control channel information. A sequence repeater(304) performs repetition according to the number of slot in which data are transmitted. A QPSK(Quadrature Phase Shift Keying) modulator(305) modulates the output of the sequence repeater(304) and outputs the modulated signal. A Walsh spreader(306) spreads the output of the QPSK modulator(305).
