PURPOSE: A portable battery charger for radio communication terminal is provided to charge battery at any place by using a small generator for generating power, while allowing battery charging to be performed regardless of the type of communication terminal. CONSTITUTION: A portable battery charger comprises a gear box(20) having a predetermined coefficient of expansion; a driving handle(10) for manually driving gear of the gear box; a generator(30) connected to the gear box; a rectifier circuit(40) connected to a power output terminal of the generator, and which converts the AC power output from the generator into a DC power; a charger circuit(50) connected to an output terminal of the rectifier circuit; a connector unit(60) including one or more connectors connected to an output terminal of the charger circuit; and a connection terminal unit(70) including a first connector(71) inserted into the connector, a second connector(73) inserted into the power charger terminal of a portable terminal, and a cable(72).
