PURPOSE: A power connector is provided to stabilize an electrical connecting operation and prevent erroneous connection due to carelessness of an operator to protect an expensive apparatus from being damaged. CONSTITUTION: A power connector includes at least one pair of female and male matching elements(16,26) matched with female and male power connectors(10,20). The female and male matching elements are arranged in a row on which female and male connection terminals(12,22) and female and male common terminals or placed apart from the row. The number of female and male matching elements is smaller or larger than the number of the female and male connection terminals and common terminals. When matching conditions for connecting the power connectors are not satisfied, electrical connection of the power connectors is not made.
