PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication system, in which an operator is not required to go to a site base station in cause examination and repair of a fault, and a daily inspection in the base station. SOLUTION: In a communication system, a maintenance terminal 10 is respectively connected to base stations 61 to 6n via a maintenance terminal model 20, a public line network 30, base station modems 41 to 4n and controllers 51 to 5n, and desired software can be supplied to the base stations 61 to 6n via its route. Further, maintenance data of the base station is obtained via the same route, and parameters on operations of the base station can occasionally be updated to the optimum one from the maintenance data. Accordingly a personnel is not required to visit the site where the base station is located for maintenance, and the time or the number of operators can be reduced, with the effect that cost is reduced as well. |
