摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elastic shaft coupling capable of reducing variation of pressue fit quantity in pressing the shaft into the cylindrical part and assembling it while coping with both a low spring action of the axial spring and a high spring action of the tortional spring and improving the dimensional accuracy after the press fit. SOLUTION: The elastic shaft coupling is constituted of an inner shaft 1 provided with a shaft 12 having four grooves 13 axially extending to the outer peripheral face, an outer shaft 2 having four protruded streaks 23 corresponding to the four grooves 13 at the inner peripheral face and provided with a cylindrical part 22 coaxially disposed at the outside of the shaft 12, and a rubber elastic body 3 interposed between the shaft 12 and the cylindrical part 22 in the condition that it is cylindrically formed by a self-lubricating rubber and the inner peripheral face is fixedly stuck to the outer peripheral face of the shaft 12 and the outer peripheral face is brought into pressure contact with the inner peripheral face of the cylindrical part 22. An engaging recess 24 engaging with an engaging protrusion 31 formed on the outer peripheral face of the rubber elastic body 3 to regulate the axial relative displacement of the shaft 12 and the cylindrical part 22 and position the axial relative position is formed on the inner peripheral face of the cylindrical part 22.</p>
