<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner in which the initial electrification characteristics and long-term electrification characteristics are improved to obtain both of the developing property and release property of the toner and a sufficient offset preventing effect can be maintained even for a deteriorated fixing member and a cleaning member with time by an endurance test. SOLUTION: The toner contains an inorganic fine powder material and toner particles containing at least a binder resin, a coloring agent and a charge controlling agent. The toner has 4 to 12μm weight average particle size and contains particles having >=10.1μm particle size by <50 vol.% in the grain size distribution of the toner. The charge controlling agent is a homopolymer of monomers expressed by formula (1) or a copolymer of the above monomers and copolymerizable monomers with the above monomers. In formula, each of R1 , R2 , R3 and R4 represents a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group, an alkylene group or an aromatic group, and at least one of them represents an unsubstituted aromatic group or an aromatic group having substituents, and X<+> represents a hydrogen atom or an alkali metal.</p> |
