PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a powder container in which there is no early breakage or the like and moreover which is easy to handle. SOLUTION: The container has a tubular container body 1 having the bottom and a cosmetic accommodating body 3 for accommodating a powder cosmetic 4 on the inside, the cosmetic accommodating body 3 comprises a tubular body 7 rotatably arranged in a direction along the inside surface within the container body 1, a mesh body 8 fixed to the upper end opening of the tubular body 7, and a baseplate 9 arranged in a way able to rise within the tubular body 7 and in a way unable to rotate in a direction along the inside surface of the container body 1, the powder cosmetic 4 is mounted on the surface of the baseplate 9, and the baseplate 9 is allowed to rise within the tubular body 7 by the rotation of the tubular body 7.
