PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooking information system with which a desired cooking result can be obtained by appropriately setting the operation condition of a cooking appliance and realizing intended subtle seasoning in contributed recipe information in the case of performing cooking on the basis of the contributed recipe information by using the cooking appliance. SOLUTION: When an information provider server 2 receives the contributed recipe information with a control code obtained by attaching the control code for operation of the cooking appliance 4 to be used in cooking of prescribed recipe information to the recipe information from a user terminal R, the server 2 inputs the contributed recipe information with the control code to a contributed recipe database 2C as contributed recipe information and transmits the contributed recipe information with the control code in the database 2C to another user terminal R in responses to a request from the other user terminal R.
