PURPOSE: A multi-divisional image monitoring recording system is provided to display more frames per unit time period and simultaneously carry out the displaying and recording by separating the real-time displaying function and the memory compressing and storing function from each other. CONSTITUTION: A multi-divisional image monitoring recording system includes a capture card(22) for collecting multi-channel image signals output from a plurality of monitoring cameras to convert and output the signals of storage type, an overlay card(23) for selecting one channel image signals among the multi-channel image signals according to the selection of a user for the display of the multi-channel images output from the monitoring cameras, to output the signals to a video memory of a PC system directly or after reconstruction into divisional screen, the PC system(21) for displaying the multi-divisional or independent screen on a monitor by directly outputting the image data from the overlay card to the video memory, and compressing the image data transmitted from the capture card in a microprocessor, storing the compressed data to an auxiliary memory, and displaying the image data to the monitor by reading the image data from the auxiliary memory and recovering the image data as necessary, and an I/O card(24) for outputting warning or alarm messages by determining the generation of abnormal situation according to output signals from a plurality of monitoring sensors and generating control signals for controlling fan/tilt parameters of the monitoring cameras.
