<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disk brake preventing a brake operation feeling from lowering without producing a dent at a pressed part of a piston made of phenol resin. SOLUTION: Extending parts 25, 26 extending in the radial direction of a disk 1 are formed at a back metal 23 of a friction pad 18. The extending parts 25, 26 have almost the same dimension as an outer periphery of the pressed part 7A of the piston, and the dimensions of the extending parts 25, 26 in the mode of this invention are a little greater than the outer periphery of the pressed parts of the piston at the outer periphery and smaller than the outer diameter of a dust seal 15. The extending parts 25, 26 make the outer periphery of the piston 11 to come in contact with the extending parts 25, 26 so as not to produce the dent, resultant from lowering of the contact pressure to the back metal of the piston 7.</p> |
