PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sharp and simple detection method for an exogeneous endocrine disturbing substance. SOLUTION: The purpose hereinbefore is solved by providing the detection method for the exogeneous endocrine disturbing substance by which a peptide having a sequence comprising 10-50 of aminoacid residues out of aminoacid sequences of a protein constituting a coactivator of an estrogen receptor is selected to correlate between reaction to the estrogen receptor of the peptide and the presence of the exogeneous endocrine disturbing substance, so as to detect the exogeneous endocrine disturbing substance.
