<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a remote education system, which enables each student to proceed with learning according to a curriculum as planned and to maintain a full cooperative relationship with other students and which enables improvememt in working efficiency on the side of teachers or educational facilities. SOLUTION: The remote education system is provide with a lecture package database 36 for storing a lecture package for each lecture containing moving images or voice data concerning the lecture, a subject management database 38 for recording the schedule of lecture of each subject and the period, during which the lecture package ca be delivered and the period during which an electronic bulletin board can be written-in, and a subject management section 32, which when receiving a request from a student's personal computer 18 via the Internet 19 for displaying the schedule of a specific subject, refers to the subject management database 38 and generates a schedule table showing the lecture package, which can be distributed on-line at the time and the bulletin board which can be written-in at the time, then transmits the schedule table to the personal computer 18.</p> |
