JOINING STRUCTURE OF SYNTHETIC RESIN MEMBER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a joining structure of a synthetic resin member for increasing the welding strength of two synthetic resin members. SOLUTION: Tapered faces 5 and 5 are formed in a long fluted hole 4 opened in the synthetic resin member 2 and an engaging protrusion piece 3 formed in the synthetic resin member 1 is welded and joined to the long fluted hole 4 of the synthetic resin member 2. A part of the engaging protrusion piece 3 of the synthetic resin member 1 is melted into the long fluted hole 4 of the synthetic resin member 2 by thermally welding the engaging protrusion piece 3 of the synthetic resin member 1, and the engaging protrusion piece 3 of the synthetic resin member 1 comes into close contact with the tapered faces 5 and 5 of the long fluted hole 4 of the synthetic resin member 2. Thus, the synthetic resin member 1 is welded and joined to the long fluted hole 4 of the synthetic resin member 2 through the engaging protrusion piece 3.
