PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display to prevent irregularity of brightness in a display screen based on deformation of a reflecting member to be caused by heat to be generated from a light source and of which display quality of the display screen is enhanced. SOLUTION: In the liquid crystal display is provided with a liquid crystal panel and an illuminating means 16 to be provided on a surface opposite to a display surface of the liquid crystal display panel, the illuminating means is provided with a storage body having side walls at surroundings, a light transmission body 9 to be arranged in the storage body and the light source to be arranged at the side of a light transmission body plate in the storage body, the illuminating means is provided with a first reflection member 10 to be arranged in the storage body, the first reflection member has a first side to be arranged between the light source and the side wall of the storage body so as to be mutually faced and on which the surface to face the light source is defined as a reflection surface and a second side to be arranged so as to cover a space on the side of the liquid crystal panel of the light source and on which the surface to face the light source is defined as the reflection surface. |
