PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance efficiency of cargo handling work of a workman in a physical distribution warehouse and to provide flexible correspondence to a change or the like of a shipping schedule or a cargo receiving schedule. SOLUTION: A work unit to be used as a work assignment unit is defined every work process, and work assignment is carried out in work units. In the assignment, accumulation of articles is prevented by assigning at least one workman to a work process not necessarily busy but with cargo work and not by assigning cargo work only to work units where cargo work concentrates. |
