PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of allowing a group of persons who desire to purchase a certain quantity of merchandises together, for example, by using a container with fixed capacity and a system for actualizing the group purchase by using the Internet. SOLUTION: Persons who desire to purchase one or more kinds of merchandise are invited by using a communication network 100 and information showing the desired merchandises to be purchase and their quantities are received from the desiring purchasers through a communication network 100 and the total quantities are computed by the merchandises from the received information and it is determined that the merchandise or merchandised in combination can be ordered when it is decided by combinations of the merchandises that the total quantity of each combination of specific merchandises is less than the carrying quantity of a container and larger than a lower-limit quantity less than it.
