PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cell and tissue-culturing apparatus capable of achieving a desired culture by imparting physical stimulation required for the proliferation and the growth to a material to be cultured, which is a cell or a tissue to be cultured, and capable of protecting the material to be cultured from being contaminated with various germs. SOLUTION: This cell and tissue-culturing apparatus has the material to be cultured (a matrix 18) formed into a cylindrical shape, a chamber (a culturing chamber 8) for storing the material to be cultured, a circulation passage (a first circulation passage 32) connected to the material to be cultured and for circulating the culturing liquid to the inside of the material to be cultured, and a pump (a tube pump 36), a controlling means (a controller 60) and the like for controlling the rate of the flow of the culturing liquid. The apparatus can achieve the desired culture by imparting arbitrary physical stimulation to the material to be cultured which is the cell or the tissue to be cultured by feeding the culturing liquid (30) having the rates of the flow different at the inner side and the outer side of the material to be cultured, and can protect the material to be cultured from being contaminated by the various germs.
