PURPOSE: A sea-island type superfine false twist yarn for warp knitting which is characterized by having excellent knitting property and raising property, having soft touch, excellent dyeability and excellent deep color tone on producing warp knitted fabric and maintaining under 20% of crimp holding rate, and a manufacturing method thereof are provided. CONSTITUTION: The superfine false twist yarn for warp knitting is obtained by a process containing the steps of: using easy elution polymer as sea ingredient; using polyethylene terephthalate as island ingredient; conjugated-spinning to produce sea-island type conjugated fiber(1); and then false-twisting the fiber(1) on condition that heat setting temperature of the first heater(3) is 150-190deg.C. Twist factor(K) of the sea-island type conjugated fiber(1) is 24,500-28,500.
