<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a high-density portable single-use memory module display information on the contents and the amount used of the module. SOLUTION: A device, for performing data recording, address designation and readout, for which an address can be designated electrically has a memory array module (20) having a plurality of layers of data storage media. An electric marking device (25) is provided on at least one of the layers, and displays arbitrary and previously selected information on the properties or the like of the contents of the data stored in the memory array module (20). The electric marking device (25) includes a layer (102) that functions as at least one display layer, and is partially and visually modified so that the information display of displaying the title and name of the contents of the data, and the memory capacity that has been used already, or the like is provided.
