<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a joint seat for an air tank and an air tank having it, capable of preventing clogging of air devices, air leakage due to damage of a valve seat part and air leakage due to welding failure by surely inhibiting chipping caused by a male screw part of a counterpart member even if the joint seat is deformed due to thermal stress. SOLUTION: In this joint seat 7, 71 for an air tank, the joint seat 7, 71 is joined to the surface S of the air tank 1 by welding 14, and the male screw part 8a of pipes 8 for supplying and discharging air to the air devices is screwed in a female screw part 7d formed in a screw hole 12 penetrating the joint seat 7 to connect the seat and the air tank. The female screw part 7d of the joint seat in the vicinity of the joint surface S of the air tank 1 is provided with an undercut part 13 formed to enlarge the inside diameter of the screw hole 12 by cutting a part thereof.</p> |
