<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently remove organic matter and a nitrogen compound contained in wastewater in a wastewater treatment method using a wastewater treatment apparatus 1. SOLUTION: The wastewater treatment apparatus 1 for removing organic matter and a nitrogen compound contained in wastewater has a treatment water tank 2, a stirrer 3 for stirring wastewater in the treatment water tank 2, an aerator 4 for aerating wastewater in the treatment water tank 2 and a drain device 6 for discharging wastewater from the treatment water tank 2. The wastewater treatment method using the wastewater treatment apparatus 1 includes a stirring aeration process A for aerating wastewater by the aerator 4 and stirring the same at the same time by the stirrer 3, a sedimentation process B for stopping the aerator 4 and the stirrer 3 to separate wastewater into treated water and activated sludge and a discharge process C for discharging treated water by the drain device 6. Further, a control unit 5 controls the aerator 4 in the stirring aeration process A so as to generate nitrification reaction and denitrification reaction in wastewater in the treatment water tank 2 at the same time to adjust the aeration quantity and aeration time in the treatment water tank 2.</p> |
