摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correct variation in distribution of exposure energy by including influence of superposing by adjacent recording elements. SOLUTION: An optical profile at a time when an LPH is fully activated (all the LEDs 66 are activated) is measured and correction data is determined so as to flat a quantity of exposure energy exceeding a predetermined threshold (a threshold for low density, a threshold for high density) in the optical profile at the full activation. That is, the correction data is determined by taking account of influence from not only each LED 66 but also the adjacent LEDs by using the optical profile at the full activation. A plurality of pieces of correction data (two pieces of data for low density and high density) are prepared and the correction data is selected corresponding to image density of a region in the vicinity of a targeting pixel (the targeting pixel and adjacent pixels) to adjust the light quantity when an image is formed in an image forming apparatus.</p>
