<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high performance and excellently reliable touch panel with an enlarged active area and a reduced size. SOLUTION: Gold paste including admixed gold powder is mixed is screen- printed and fired on the transparent electrode 2 of a glass substrate 1 so that a connection electrode 23 can be formed. While the sheet resistance value of conventional silver paste is about 5Ω/cm<2> , the resistance value of the gold fired film takes an extremely small value of about 0.3Ω/cm2, and while the width w and thickness h of the conventional connection electrode are respectively 1 to 10 mm and 1 to 30μm, the width w and thickness h of this connection electrode are respectively about 0.1 mm and about 1μm, which are not more than 1/10 times those of the prior art. Thus, it is possible to increase the active area ratio, and to make the product more compact and thinner.</p> |
