PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a unit type clipping device for an endoscope which can be used always in a right state by easily setting the unit of a clip to the side of a sheath in the case of mounting the unit of the clip to the side of the sheath. SOLUTION: The unit type clipping device for the endoscope obtained by uniting the clip 2, a clip connection hook 4 and a clip closing ring 6 is provided with a cylinder 5b which is fitted continuously to a connection member 5 fitted to the tip of an operation wire 3 and the hook 4 connected to it to keep the hook 4 and the member 5 in a straightly connected state.
