PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a loose powder vessel compactly housed in a handbag and a pouch of a user, and usable as portable vessel convenient for carrying. SOLUTION: Cosmetic powder 2 such as face powder is housed in a bottomed cylindrical slender bottle 1. A fixed volume intermediate plug 3 is arranged in a mouth part 1C of the bottle 1 for adjusting a shaking-out quantity when shaking out the cosmetic powder 2. A filter lid 7 is arranged on the opening end side in a shaking-out cylinder 5 of the fixed volume intermediate plug 3, and the particle size of the cosmetic powder 2 shaken out of the mouth part 1C of the bottle 1 is uniformized by meshes 7B of the filter lid 7. Thus, even when the cosmetic powder 2 of, for example, about 30 g is housed in the slender bottle 1 having a small outer diameter, the whole of the vessel can be kept in a slender shape so that this loose powder vessel can be compactly housed in the handbag together with a puff case.
