X-RAY CT SYSTEM AND ITS CONTROL METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To save an operator labor for inputting a scanning range, to improve patient throughput and to reduce exposure dosage by providing an X-ray CT system whose starting position and finishing position of precise scanning is automatically set on an operation console and providing its controlling method. SOLUTION: The starting position and finishing position of scanning are easily measured by using a positioning light and the values of them are automatically set as scanning conditions. The operator operates a moving button 42 or 43 so as to match a desired scanning starting position with a light projecting position to adjust the position of a top plate and presses a Start Loc. button 44 to set the position of the top plate at that time as the scanning starting position. Similarly, the position of the top plate is adjusted to set a reference position and to set the scanning finishing position with a Ref. Loc. button 45 and an End Loc. button 46. The respective pieces of set positional information are transferred to the operation console.
