PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dry filter having a structural dimension convenient for a narrow condition, particularly the mining and high separation grade. SOLUTION: A filter housing (2) having the structural dimension convenient for the dry type filter (1) is composed of side walls (6, 30), a rear wall (11) and a housing bottom part (9) and a connection branched part (7) for a cleaned gas passage (4) is installed on one of the side walls (6, 30). A feed gas passage (3) is opened in a zone of a cap (32) and the mine air containing dust or the feed gas flows-in from the upper side into the filter housing (2) through the feed gas passage (3) to be passed through partition walls (28, 29) or a filter element (5). The separated dust falls down into a chain scraper conveyer (20) through a vibration apparatus or the like and is transported through a discharge gate (21) by the chain scraper conveyer.
