<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner which holes a power cord for heaters being provided at the downwind side of a heat exchanger so that the power cord can be removed easily. SOLUTION: In the air conditioner, a suction opening 1 is provided at the lower section of a front, a supply opening 2 is provided at the lower portion of the front, heat exchanger 3 comprising front and rear heat exchangers 3a and 3b formed nearly in an inverse V shape in terms of side view while the upper section is bent, and a blowing fan 4 are provided at an air passage for connecting the suction opening 1 and the supply opening 2, a shielding plate 5 for shielding suction air is provided at the upwind side of a bent section 3c of the heat exchanger 3, and a heater 6 is provided at the downwind side. In the shielding plate 5, a retention section 8 for retaining the power cord 7 connected to the heater 6 so that the cord can be inserted and removed is provided at the shielding plate 5.</p> |
