SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR MAPPING URL BY USING KEYWORD NAME

PURPOSE: A system and a method for mapping the URL(Uniform Resource Locator) by using a keyword name are provided to easily connect to a corresponding resource by using the keyword name made of the mother language in which the resource is actually called even without the input of the URL. CONSTITUTION: A keyword name server(11) is connected with a client(30) via the Internet(20). The keyword name server(11) decides if the connecting word inputted from the client(30) is an English domain name or the keyword name. If the connecting word is the keyword name, the keyword name server(11) provides the IP(Internet Protocol) address of a discrimination server(12) to the client(30). Otherwise, the keyword name server(11) provides the IP address of an English domain name server(40) to the client(30). The discrimination server(12) discriminates the language of the keyword name. Based on the connecting word inputted from the client(30), the discrimination server(12) searches for a keyword name database(14) and connects the client(30) to the corresponding Internet resource.
