<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cellulose ester film excellent in moisture permeability and retainability, which is especially used for a polarizing plate or a protective film for polarizing plate. SOLUTION: The film having a moisture permeability of 20-260 (g/m<2> , 24 h, 25 deg.C, 90%RH) contains a polyhydric alcohol ester of an aliphatic polyhydric alcohol and one or more monocarboxylic acids. Preferably, the film has the retainability of 0.0-2.0%. The aliphatic polyhydric alcohol has 2-20 valences. The monocarboxylic acid has an aromatic ring or cycloalkyl ring in a molecule. The film thickness is 10-65μm.</p> |
