PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a user efficiently read a representative work out of a huge quantity of multimedia works. SOLUTION: This information providing device is provided with an access log totaling part 18 for totaling the number of accesses to a multimedia work within a predetermined period, a summary preparing part 17 which is connected to the access log totaling part 18, extracts the representative multimedia work out of the set of multimedia works corresponding to the number of accesses to the multimedia work and prepares a summary which expresses the extracted multimedia work by an expression method corresponding to the number of accesses, and a mail distributing part 12 which is connected to the summary preparing part 17 for distributing the summary by electronic mail. |
