AMIDE GROUP-CONTAINING STYRENE-ACID ANHYDRIDE COPOLYMER, ITS MANUFACTURING METHOD AND ITS USE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel amide group-containing styrene-acid anhydride copolymer, its manufacturing method and use. SOLUTION: The amide group-containing styrene-acid anhydride copolymer has repeating units to be represented by formulae (I) and (II) (wherein R is a group to be derived from a monomer of (meth)acylic acids; R<1> and R<2> may be the same or different and is each a 1-6C alkyl group or R<1> and R<2> may form a 5- to 6-membered nitrogen-containing heterocyclic group with the nitrogen atom to which these groups are bonded). Thus, the amide group-containing styrene-acid anhydride copolymer can be used as an alkali-soluble and developable photoresist composition for photo irradiation reaction and a solder-resistant photoresist composition for a printed circuit board.
