PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bar core for casting which is suitable for form a venting hole and of which deformation is little, in which a cast defect is hardly caused by generated gas and which has good workability. SOLUTION: This bar core 1 for casting has a core sand layer 3 on the surface of the tubular core metal 2 through which the generated gas passes.
