THREE-DIMENSIONAL MOLDED PRODUCT COMPOSED OF VEGETABLE FIBERS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a three-dimensional molded product composed of vegetable fibers which can be easily obtained with high productive efficiency and in an easy dry molding manner without the use of pulp slurry using water in the molding process. SOLUTION: A mixture of vegetable fibers and vegetable fibers obtained by mixing the described fibers with a thermoplastic resin which can be thermally fusion-bonded, as main raw materials is dispersed and piled up over a porous mold of a three-dimensional shape. Intersections between the vegetable fibers are at least partially bonded and retained in shape through the thermoplastic resin. After that, subjecting the mixture to heating treatment to obtain the three-dimensional molded product.
