PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic resetting apparatus which can reset a breaker even if a rush current is produced when the breaker is reset. SOLUTION: This automatic resetting apparatus has a trip detecting means 4 which detects a trip of a breaker 3, a current detecting means 5 which detects a current of a main circuit, a reset deciding means 6 which decides whether the breaker 3 can be reset or no according to the outputs of the trip detecting means 4 and the current detecting means 5, and a handle manipulating means 7 which resets the breaker 3 according to a resetting signal outputted by the reset deciding means 6. The reset deciding means 6 outputs the closing signal if the current of the main circuit is not an overcurrent when the breaker 3 is tripped and, further, the reset deciding means 6 outputs the reset signal if the current is an overcurrent when the breaker 3 is tripped after the breaker 3 is reset by the reset signal which is outputted by the reset deciding means 6 if the current is not an overcurrent when the breaker 3 is tripped. |
