PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heating element capable of achieving an electric fusion joint having a superior fusion property with reduced man-hours. SOLUTION: A sheet-shaped heating member having a first resin sheet holding a heating body folded back at a plurality of portions on a surface and a second resin sheet fixed on one surface is used in this heating element for the electric fusion joint. The first resin sheet preferably holds a third resin sheet on the other surface. The heating body is preferably formed by an electrical resistance material mainly constituted by tin oxide.
