<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reinforce torque transmission capacity without resulting in enlargement of an actuator or a clutch and complicating the structure. SOLUTION: The differential device is provided with torque transmission members 9, 11, a main clutch 13 arranged between the members 9, 11, a pilot clutch 21 intermittently operated by an electric magnet 27, a ball cum 15 which works when the clutch 21 is connected to connect the main clutch 13, and a gear set transmitting the driving force of a generating machinery to the member 9. A set of helical gears 7 generating an engaging thrust is used in the above gear set. The fastening force of the clutches 21, 13 is intensified by the engaging thrust of the gear set 7 input through the thrust transmission part 29 provided between the member 9 and the clutch 21 and the thrust transmission part 31 provided between the member 9 and the clutch 13.</p> |
