<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a label removing apparatus for recovering a PET bottle by peeling/separating a label from a used PET bottle. SOLUTION: The label removing apparatus is composed of a spiral body which is inserted into a slender casing having an inlet for charging the PET bottle and an outlet for discharging the bottle with its label removed and the removed label and sends the PET bottle from the inlet to the outlet, a plurality of longitudinal fixed stripe materials which are located at intervals in the circumferential direction on the inner wall of the casing and fitted to prevent interference with the circumferential part of the spiral body, and an intermediate fitting piece fitted to the inner wall of a casing intermediate part. The spiral body is inverted by being made to collide with the fitting piece while sending the PET bottle, the label wound onto the circumference of the bottle is peeled off by the spiral body, and the bottle and the label are separated from each other to be recovered from the outlet.</p> |
