PURPOSE: An apparatus for measuring the length of the circumference of a tire is provided to prevent measurement deviation according to measurers, and accurately measure the length of the circumference of the tire in short time. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for measuring the length of the circumference of a tire includes a rotating shaft(10) mounting a tire(80) and being rotated by a motor(11) at regular speed; a measuring part(20) installed opposite to a circumferential surface of the tire mounted at the rotating shaft and freely moving in x axis direction and y axis direction; a laser sensor(30) combined to move on y axis of the measuring part; a servo control part(40) controlling movement of the measuring part and rotating speed of the rotating shaft; an A/D converter(50) connected to the laser sensor for converting sensed data; and a control computer(60) connected to the A/D converter for controlling the servo control part.
