APPARATUS FOR DETERMINING POSITION OF SCREEN/ELECTRODE ASSEMBLY AND EXAMINING METHOD THEREOF DURING SUPER-THIN FLAT CRT PROCESS

PURPOSE: An apparatus for determining the position of a screen/electrode assembly and an examining method thereof during the super-thin flat CRT process are provided to improve the alignment of electrode by calibrating the focus of a camera. CONSTITUTION: A camera(100) is installed on a camera plate(17) to measure a position between a screen and an electrode assembly(3a). A screen loading plate(14) supports the screen, and a position determining electrode loading plate determines the position of an electrode. An electrode/electrode-assembly loading plate supports an electrode mounted on a lower portion of the position determining electrode loading plate. Lighting(11) emit light to a hole punched on the screen and a hole punched on the electrode assembly(3a). A ball groove(400) transfers the camera plate(17). A ball groove(500a) is installed on an X, Y, &thgr;-axes table(16) in order to transmit the screen loading plate(14) and the position determining electrode loading plate. A ball groove(500b) is installed on a Z-axis table which raises and drops to a focusing surface(10) in order to transmit the electrode/electrode-assembly loading plate.
